(More customer reviews)The wind is strong enough to pull away the smoke or vapor. Also, it's easy to clean the filters. It is not the quietest type, but I am satisfied with the sound level. Makes a big difference from our old range hood.
I'd like to add something: after only six months, one of the knobs broke. I checked and found these small parts are made of plastic and break easily. Definitely a down side.
